How CloudPRNT works

Your printer polls NibbleOS for new orders over your internet connection. When an order comes in, it prints automatically — no port forwarding, no static IPs, no special setup. Just plug in and configure the printer URL in your NibbleOS dashboard.

Hardware questions

Do I need to buy hardware right away?
No. You can start with just your phone or computer — the NibbleOS dashboard works in any browser. Add a printer, KDS tablet, or smart terminal whenever you're ready. Many merchants start taking online orders with zero hardware investment.
Why Stripe terminals?
The S700 and S710 are Android smart terminals that run NibblePOS natively — your entire POS lives on the device with no separate tablet or phone needed. They also have the best payment processing rates (1.4% + €0.25) and support Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link out of the box.
Can I use my existing card reader?
If it's from Stripe, Square, or SumUp — yes. Connect it to your NibbleOS account and it works with NibblePOS immediately. Readers from other providers (Zettle, Clover, etc.) are not currently supported.
What about SumUp and Square readers?
Fully supported. SumUp Air, SumUp Solo, Square Reader, and Square Terminal all work with NibbleOS for in-person payments. They pair to your account and integrate with NibblePOS for seamless checkout. They just can't run NibblePOS natively like the Stripe smart terminals can.
What if my printer breaks?
Orders still appear on the KDS and in your dashboard — you won't miss anything. Get a replacement and add it to your account. Star printers are reliable and most come with manufacturer warranties.
